The High Tatras have a unique location as they are very close to large town centres and airports and thus easy to get to. The resorts of the High Tatras, Low Tatras and the water park Tatralandia are only a 3.5 hour drive by car from Bratislava and a 1.5 hour drive from Košice.
All resorts have free SKI-IN / SKI-OUT car parks which are close to the slopes.
The international airport Poprad - Tatry is the highest located airport in Central Europe. It is only a 15 minute drive from the ski resort of the High Tatras (Tatranská Lomnica, Starý Smokovec and Štrbské Pleso), only a 40 minute drive from the thermal park Tatralandia and a 50 min drive from the largest ski resort of Central and Eastern Europe – Jasná Chopok.
The railway station in Liptovský Mikuláš is the destination station of the resort Low Tatras and the water park Tatralandia. As for the High Tatras, the destination station is the Poprad – Tatry railway station, which is also a junction and a starting point of the Tatra Electric Railways (TEŽ). These can take you from Poprad to all resorts really fast and in all comfort, providing real pleasure of travelling and observing the surrounding landscape.
